     I write from the quiet heart of Kentucky, where history, botany, and the resilience of women shape the stories I tell. My heroine, Lady Aurora, is a French countess and botanist whose knowledge of the natural world becomes both her refuge and her strength. A widow who survived a brutal marriage, she carries the scars of the past with a quiet dignity, and a determination to never again be silenced.

     Her investigations unfold in the shadowed parlors and glass‑roofed conservatories of 1880s England and France, where beauty and danger often grow side by side. Alongside the enigmatic Earl of Sommerset, she navigates a world where secrets bloom as readily as roses, and where every plant, every gesture, every silence may hold a clue.

My World

     When I’m not writing, I’m in the garden. This is the place where I breathe, observe, and listen. Gardening teaches me the same lessons that storytelling does: patience, curiosity, and the courage to return to the soil after every storm. The smallest seed, the stubborn sprout, the bloom that arrives late but arrives all the same: these are the quiet metaphors that guide my work.

     Many of my ideas take root among the roses and herbs. A scent, a thorn, a shift of light across a leaf. These small, living details often become the emotional threads woven into my novels. Between the turning seasons and the turning pages, I find the balance that sustains me: the harmony between the natural world and the imagined one.
