As a writer, I have always been fascinated by the story of how ordinary Victorian women fought conventions to give birth to the modern woman. Through sheer persistence, these women created the framework that allowed the modern man to emerge. Their bravery and fortitude inspired me to write my own stories, to paint portraits of women who defy societal norms and expectations.
